Once in a while, it is okay, but daily, it is a piece of bad news. 

Moreover, avoid your gadget from getting superheated, as it can cause a drastic change in the battery’s health (basically crystallizing electrolyte present in the battery, which can restricts ions from traveling to the opposite ends, i.e., from positive to negative and vice versa.).
